Authentic and homely vegetarian food; plenty of options; We came to eat only pav bhaji and missal pav. In addition to these, we had sev puri, pani puri and Shevpuri. Took home Dhoklas and Sabudanna Khichadi. All items have authentic Indian taste ; just like made at home. The owner Kantaben is super friendly. Highly recommend. Unique experience at this location is the wall decor and pop art posters

Had dinner here for the first time while visiting San Diego and truly enjoyed the experience. We ordered dhokla, samosa chaat, kachori, and gobi Manchurian. The food was simple, fresh, and delicious. The mild sweet mint chutney served with the dhokla was especially memorable—one of the best we’ve had so far in the U.S. Service was quick, the place was very clean, and the ambience felt calm and welcoming. There were no TV screens, just soft, soothing music in the background, which made the overall dining experience relaxed and pleasant. It felt like a mindful space to enjoy a meal with family. We also appreciated the wide variety of options available, including snacks, meals, and sweets. The staff appeared quiet, courteous, and helpful. The self-service kiosk for ordering was another highlight—very smooth, quick, and convenient. We loved our experience and would happily return on our next visit to San Diego. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for wholesome food in a peaceful setting. The place is also located near the sea beach and it was easy to find a parking lot at around 7:00 pm when we got here.

Very delicious food. I'd like to get more info about what oils are used, what additives if any, etc. but everything tasted very fresh and good. I got the full thali, which was more than enough food. Will probably get a smaller thali next time, without the paneer curry or dessert. I'm temporarily on a restricted diet of simple, fresh, cooked vegetarian food so this seems like a wonderful choice for me.

Really nice pure vegetarian restaurant in San Diego. I honestly enjoyed the food here more than any restaurant I ate at in Las Vegas or Los Angeles. Jain options are available, and the taste is excellent—authentic, fresh, and satisfying. The team handling is warm, polite, and very responsive, which makes the overall experience even better. Feels like home Highly recommended for anyone looking for sattvik, pure veg food, especially Jain families

I was visiting California from the East Coast and had a serious craving for Indian food. As a Gujarati, I’m picky when it comes to comfort food, and this place genuinely hit the spot. The thali, especially, gave me that real home-cooked Gujarati meal feeling. When you’re traveling and missing familiar flavors, this is exactly the kind of place you look for. Here’s what I tried: • Dabeli (1/5): Very dry. Honestly, skip this one. • Dahi Puri (3.5/5): Decent, good balance of flavors. • Gobi Manchurian (3.5/5): Tasty and enjoyable. • Vada Pav (3/5): Okay, not bad but not outstanding. • Chai (2/5): Didn’t really work for me. • Dahi Vada (3/5): Average, nothing memorable. • Mini Thali (4/5): The highlight. Surti undhiyo, chana masala, roti, Gujarati dal, and rice — comforting and satisfying, especially if you’re craving authentic Gujarati food. Doesn’t have many masalas, it’s very simple Gujarati thali. Overall, if you’re Gujarati or just missing homestyle Indian food while traveling, the thali alone makes this place worth visiting.

I just love their food. Not too rich or buttery like the restaurants where I feel bloating after a few bites. My go to place for when I'm craving "home cooked" Indian food. I got the Harabhara kebab and the full thali and it was enough for 3 prior to enjoy. And make sure to grab a pack of Theplas or paranthas to have set home the next day. I didn't take a picture of the Samosa because I ate the whole thing before I got to the review!!

Wooww adults n kids all enjoyed this place.! Totally recommend it for anyone looking for quick dinner with not much wait times or delays. We ordered with kiosk and order was fulfilled quickly as well. We did see that this place could get busy too. Loved the quality of food. Very clean and not greasy at all. Puran poli was good too. If it was bit more thinner it would be outstanding. Totally recommend this place for anyone looking for a quick bite or light snack or full sized thali.. they also offered snacks for purchase. We loved coffee or masala chai as well.
